32 Leaves is a five-piece hard rock/post-grunge music group from Phoenix, Arizona, United States. The band is currently signed to Universal Republic Records.
32 Leaves: Description
32 Leaves offers up powerful, driving rock that is as at once aggressive and heavy, melodic and subtle. Sonically, they could be compared to kindred spirits like Deftones, A Perfect Circle or Dredg, but 32 Leaves' unique musical identity is found within the composition of their songs, their live shows and their relationships with each other and the world around them.
"It's always been a matter of synergy between the five of us," Norris explains. "It's truly a gift to have the connection that we have. Often it's so intense that we don't even need to speak to one another. Our ideas, thoughts and concerns work themselves out through us, through our music."
In 2005, 32 Leaves recorded and mixed their debut album 'Welcome to the Fall' with Larry "Love" Elyea of Bionic Jive fame, at The Salt Mine and Minds Eye Digital in Mesa, AZ.
32 Leaves is focused and ready to bring their music to an ever-widening audience. "We've spent enough time huddled away in the rehearsal studio and the recording studio," Norris says. "We want reactions now...We want to see it in people's faces."
During 2006 & 2007 32 Leaves has been coast-to-coast supporting their album 'Welcome to the Fall' and sharing stages with such acts as 10 Years, Crossfade, Dredg, Evans Blue, Fair To Midland, Smile Empty Soul, and Trapt.
Presently, the band is recording their next album, which is currently untitled. Creating unique sounds and then mending and molding them with melodic guitar, rhythmic bass, aggressive drums and dynamic vocals seems to be the pulse behind making the next album.
32 Leaves has also appeared on the soundtrack to the videogame FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage on XBOX 360 and can be heard on Sirius Satellite Radio's Octane and also on XM Satellite Radio.
On December 18, Two New Singles from the band were released on Itunes. The Single, "Way Beyond", and a remake of the Single, "All Is Numb".
