3T Biography

3T are an American musical group made up of Tito Jackson and the late Delores "Dee-Dee" Jackson's three sons: Tariano Adaryll "Taj," Jr. (4 Aug 1973), Taryll Adren (8 Aug 1975) and Tito Joe "T.J." (16 Jul 1978).

On 27 August 1994, Delores was murdered by her boyfriend Donald Bohana for apparently refusing to lend Bohana money to cover nearly $2 million in debts. 3T dedicated their debut album to their mother.

3T: Career

In 1995, 3T's debut CD Brotherhood (which they dedicated to their mother's memory) on uncle Michael Jackson's label MJJ Music, and reportedly sold around three million copies worldwide. After scoring an international hit with their first single, "Anything," the group achieved notoriety, mostly in Europe and Asia territories, and minor success in the United States. 3T went on to release several more well received singles "24/7", "Why" (a duet with Michael Jackson), "I Need You" (with Michael Jackson on backing vocals) and "Gotta Be You", performed to sold-out shows world-wide, and graced the covers of many magazines. In 1996 they were the second biggest selling act in Europe, only behind Spice Girls.

3T later wrote and produced songs for the soundtracks to such films as Men in Black, Free Willy and Free Willy 2, The Jacksons: An American Dream, and Trippin. Today the group continues to perform for sell out crowds in the Netherlands, the UK, Belgium, and Spain. Their latest album Identity was released on March 23, 2004, alongside their first single "Stuck On You" (a cover of the Lionel Richie song) and "Sex Appeal".

In December 2005, it was announced that 3T would star in a TV reality show, which would feature the band trying to resurrect their career in America.

In April 2006 they performed at the Hotel Schouwsehof in Aalsmeer Holland as part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the birth of live soul music in the provincial farming village near Schiphol Airport.
