Not to be confused with the Austrian Black Metal band with the same name, Dawn of Dreams has imported the dark gloom of Black metal to Germany. Driven by the two guitar attack of Uli Stadtmuller and Heiko Wagner, and an unrelentless rhythm section, vocalist Bernd Kombrink roars with unabashed intensity, singing such heavy-hearted tunes as "Dark Black Conscious", "Hell Beneath", "Swallow The Fire", "Imprisoned Sun" and "Drowning In Dreams". While melody occasionally makes its presence felt, the band's sound is a fiery mix of black metal speed and death metal aggression.br /br /br /br /Formed in 1993, Dawn Of Dreams didn't release its debut album, Darklight Awakening, until eight years later.
