Quirky British pub rock combo the Fabulous Poodles formed in 1976 by singer/guitarist Tony Demeur, bassist Richie C. Robinson, violinist Bobby Valentino, and drummer Bryn B. Burrows. Debuting in 1977 with a self-titled effort on Pye, the group returned the following year with a pair of LPs, Mirror Stars and Unsuitable; following 1979's Think Pink, the Fabulous Poodles dissolved. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide |
