Los Angeles' Low Millions features singer/guitarist Adam Cohen, guitarist Michael Chaves, bassist Jorgen Carlsson, and drummer Eric Eldenius. Before Low Millions, Cohen -- son of famed singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen -- released a self-titled solo effort in 1998. He also maintains a solo career as a French-language artist, releasing Melancolista in 2004. Via connections in the L.A. scene, Cohen hooked up with Chaves (who also plays with John Mayer) and fellow session players Carlsson and Eldenius. Low Millions' debut album, Ex-Girlfriends, arrived in late 2004 on Manhattan Records. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide |
