You Caught Me (In the Middle!)
You caught me in the middle of a spacy
Afternoon.
I was drinking coffee,
There was noone in the room.
You smiled at me as if to say
That you could heal the pain-
Your laughter echoed through my heart
And I felt fine again-
People talk of money in significant amounts.
They're busy checkin' out their funds-
And saving their accounts!
But I know there is nothing of more value
Than your smile
It reaches through the vain deceit
That haunts my little child-
You tried some clown impressions,
You chase away my blues-
With that funnyface expression,
How could I ever lose?
You fill my heart with happiness,
You touch my soul with love,
The sadness that is in my heart,
"It lifted" like a drum...
